Thomas J. Anastos


Thomas J. Anastos was born in Park Ridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Thomas then split his childhood between growing up in Essex Junction, Vermont and Scottsdale, Arizona. This was due to Thomas’s parents wanting him and his younger brother, Christopher, to be close to a set of grandparents. Thomas’s maternal grandparents, Thomas and Bessie, are immigrants from Greece who came to the United States to achieve American Dream. It was from his grandparents that Thomas learned about hard work, dedication to his family, friends, and faith, and integrity in all that he does. By entering into the legal profession, Thomas can truly carry out his grandparents’ qualities by representing others who cannot otherwise represent themselves and serving others with distinction and integrity.

Thomas received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston in May, 2018 and was admitted to the Texas Bar in October, 2019. While at law school, Thomas participated in moot court tournaments, mentored students, was a managing editor of one of the law school’s legal journals, and completed several clinics by interning at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and clerking for a Harris County District Court judge.

Upon graduating from law school, Thomas interned for a business and commercial law firm in Spring, Texas. Once he passed the Texas Bar Exam, Thomas worked as a contract attorney at a prominent Plaintiff’s Personal Injury firm in Houston, Texas. During his time there, Thomas gained extensive motion practice and exposure to all facets of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury litigation, working on cases ranging from minor car crashes to premises liability and wrongful death cases. Thomas also developed a passion for Plaintiff’s Personal Injury law and is committed to fighting for individuals who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others, businesses, and insurance companies. about Plaintiff’s work.

Thomas is duly admitted to practice law in the State of Texas. Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending live concerts, watching pro sports, and enjoying everything Houston has to offer.
