Lauren Roberts was born and raised in a small rural town of Chatham, Louisiana. Her parents made sure she was active in church and extra-curricular activities. She moved to Baton Rouge, LA one week after graduating from high school.
After moving, Lauren got accepted into Louisiana State University from which she would become the first college graduate in her immediate family. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a minor in Business Administration. She then made the decision to move and make Houston, Texas her permanent home.
Lauren entered the work field as a personal and small business banker for several years prior to deciding it was time to fulfill her life-long dream of becoming an attorney. She attended South Texas College of Law-Houston. While there, she became a member of the Black Law Student Association.
Lauren began practicing Worker’s Compensation law immediately after becoming licensed. This led to her passion in helping those injured due to the negligence of others.
While not practicing law, Lauren enjoys traveling with her husband and cheering on the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
